25 October Hotel Insomnia meets Geluidsdrug: Circuit Clones starts at 19:00
"The Roland TB-303 Bass Line is a bass synthesizer released by Roland Corporation in 1981. Designed to simulate bass guitars, it was a commercial failure and was discontinued in 1984. However, cheap second-hand units were adopted by electronic musicians, and its "squelching" or "chirping" sound became a foundation of electronic dance music such as acid house, Chicago house and techno."
This evening will be filled with jams with ~only~ TB303-clones. All sounds will come from this illustrious category of devices; drones, synths, even the drums will come from the 303's,....
EQs,crossovers, delays, reverbs, distortions, overdrives, compressors, etc will be used to to twist and mangle the sounds.
Clones in any shape and form are welcome, whether hardwarde, software, voice controlled, X0XB0X, TB3, RE303, TT303, MB33 , TB03 etc etc. Special price for those who bring TBS303, ML303!
