‘Design the Car of the Future’, open for participation

03 September 2019

Renault is organising the ‘Design the car of the future’ contest.

Dutch people are asked to share their best ideas about the car of the future, after which three finalists will put their future vision to paper with the help of a professional sketch artist. The finalists will also be competing for one year of free 100% electric driving in the new Renault ZOE.

We are currently at the beginning of a new era regarding mobility. Major changes are coming, urbanisation is developing fast. Renault embraces these trends and is looking for ways to make transport of people more efficient, sustainable, and affordable. Renault has a clear vision in mind: making everyday life in 2030 easier through 100% electric, connected, shared and autonomous mobility.

Renault is curious to find out how people envision the car of the future. Anyone with a clear view on the future of mobility in 2030 is invited to participate in the ‘Design the Car of the Future’ contest.

All entries will be judged by an expert panel headed by Laurens van den Acker, Senior Vice President Corporate Design at Renault and former DDW ambassador (2018). The winner will be announced during Dutch Design Week, which Renault is partnering with for the second time.
