With work from 2600 designers, covering just about every area in our society, the event kicks up some dust for debate and delivers food for thought. DDW presents you a daily summary of debates, lectures and seminars spread across Eindhoven.

‘What if' through sleep-innovations, we can spend our awake-time even better? Hästens and DDF organized a What if Lab together concerning this question. Three design teams were invited to brainstorm with them about it: Kiki van Eijk, Laura Lynn Jansen & Justine Kontou and Govert Flint of Enrichers.The results of this inspiring What if Lab will be presented for the first time in this seminar.

Everyday during DDW, the racetrack is cleared and makes room for some in depth talks on the different perspectives presented.Today’s topic: More people are moving towards the cities. How are we designing the new cities with nowadays challenges?



18.00 - 19.00 | CREATE OUT LOUD #2: INVERTUALS INVERTED WITH WENDY PLOMP

MU director and curator Angelique Spaninks zooms in, together with Wendy Plomp and a variety of guests, on the question what actually defines Dutch Invertuals by addressing both the successes as the lessons learned during the second session of Create Out Loud.

Playgrounds and Graphic Matters present a special edition of Sessions with three special guests: PanGenerator with APPARATUM, Thijs Biersteker with Volverium and Jan Bajtlik, who tells us about his work for Hermès Paris.
