Could you believe me if I told you that you can use your clothes infinitely?

03 October 2019

Not a myth but now already a fact. Actually, it has already been invented by Chloe Severien in her new innovative project- "Biophilia": The Infinite Re-usable Knitwear, that will be participating in the Dutch Design Week this year.

Reusing and designing your clothes in different shapes is now the innovative reality that we live in.

The secret is in the new system that is based on a knitwear and PET yarn. Usually used to reinforce tires, but who could have guessed that tires could have given our clothes eternity?

The secret ingredient - PET yarn. It is made from recycled PET bottles and it is extremely strong, colorful and shiny.  Just the way we like it.

Additionally, PET  yarn can help reduce the ecological footprint of the Fashion Industry as well.

Do you want to learn how the magic works?

The knitwear consists of one yarn that loops together, which makes it easily unravelable by pulling at the yarn`s end. As a result, a newly designed piece of clothing can be knitted straight away. Now...that is what you call the power of the Infinite Re-usable Knitwear.
