The role of designers in current healthcare issues, on show in a mock-up care facility

The ‘Intensive Care’ presentation by Creative Industries Fund NL reveals the versatile ways in which designers can contribute to topical issues in the healthcare sector. The complexity of these tasks and the vulnerability of people in need of care calls for all-out efforts from designers: Intensive Care. Curator Bruno Vermeersch has designed the presentation as a mock-up care facility that presents a rich diversity of projects which the Fund has supported over recent years. During the exhibition the Fund is hosting two meetings, to allow healthcare professionals to focus on, critically question and celebrate the role of designers in putting issues on the agenda in healthcare.
