This year’s ceramic minor students present their works in progress at the Beeldenstorm, a collaborative workspace for artists and designers. Although all students work according to the same methodology, each student has their own background, their own way of working, and rituals from their own country. From clarifying their own personal story to understanding how ceramic was used in the archaeological past, this unique program guides students as they transform intangible dreams into fine technical realization.
Discover a diverse collection developed and led by designers Lonny van Ryswyck and Nadine Sterk of Atelier NL (Poetry), master craftsman Pierluigi Pompei (Mastery), and theoretician Job Meihuizen (Resonance) in collaboration with Beeldenstorm, Cor Unum Ceramics & Art and Erfgoedhuis Eindhoven.

Poetry. Mastery. Resonance.
The Ceramic Minor at the Design Academy Eindhoven unfolds according to a trilogy-based methodology. Each phase covers a different aspect of the creative process from conceptual and emotional - to practical and material - to contextual and philosophical. Deepen your understanding of how a ceramic project is developed through time and space.
